Overview of Business Deployment Rep (BDR) Role:
1. ISV Prospecting, Recruitment & On boarding
o Strategic Cloud recruitment Support for Emerging Cloud Field Team
· Go after competitive market places beyond SDFC (MSFT, AWS, IBM, GetApp, etc)
· New ISVs for Oracle PaaS
o New ISVs who proactively reach out to join OPN
o Other recruitment campaigns as needed
o Onboarding includes
· OPN membership
· Distribution agreements
· APRF approvals
· Working with SC for ISV’s product development /Migration
· Oracle Cloud Marketplace Publication
· OVI recruitment
2. Non- active ISV engagement (2,763 ISVs of the 8,145 ISVs in OPN that are not in T1/2/3) & new ISVs
o ISV Activation
o Technology Adoption / Cloud Adoption
o ExaStack certification
o Oracle Cloud Marketplace Publication,
3. Business Development Campaign follow up (Based on schedule and work volume)
o Primary point of qualification of prospects to produce quality leads for ISV Sales (demand generation). Would be accomplished through mix of outbound prospecting and lead follow-up.
o Migrate support for existing Oracle ISVs to Oracle PaaS (in conjunction with field/inside sales)
· Call out campaign (drive attendance to event, promotional offer, or basic qualification of current Cloud plans/usage) focused on current ISVs with active agreements, active maintenance streams, had agreement/revenue in the past but now dormant, or are members of OPN and identify themselves as an ISV (would most likely break into segments for better targeted message and next steps)
· Call out campaigns as above to targeted lists of non-Oracle ISVs
o Including follow up on campaigns such as webinars, road shows, online offers
· OCM/OVI Recruitment (Building the Oracle Ecosystem)
o As partners integrate to our SaaS or OnPremise applications, we can then have a conversation around platforming on Oracle.
· Worst case enhances the viability of our applications with valuable 3rd party enhancements that are validated and controlled programmatically by Oracle
o Joint Campaign Follow up with Key Partners
o Following up on campaigns (calling into install base, follow up on event attendance, etc) we’d run jointly with key partners where we would be promoting solutions such as Oracle Engineered Systems or Private/Hybrid Cloud to the ISV’s customers
Requirement
